- But in 1991, at the age of 41, he tried to
- qualify for the 1992 U.S. Olympic Team in the
- 100-meter butterfly. He didnΓÇÖt make the team,
- but he couldnΓÇÖt really complain. After all, he
- had already won 11 Olympic medals.
